These pictures are from three trips I made by motorcycle into British Columbia and Alberta back in the early 1980s. My friends Al and Connie MacMillan were from Canada and they showed me places more beautiful than I ever knew existed. Once we took the mostly dirt Kananaskis road through the center of Alberta in weather that varied from driving rain to hot sun. I will never forget that. I recently heard that the Kananaskis is now a sleek paved highway. I'm thinking of going back this summer. In a truck.
