Whenever I have time one of my favorite things to do is jump in my truck with my camera over my shoulder and go exploring my beautiful state. California seems to me an endless maze of roads each offering a fascinating image just waiting to be captured.
The photographs on these pages were all taken on a series of such unscripted journeys. These were shot with various digital SLR cameras I've owned in the last couple of years: a Nikon D1h, Nikon D1x, Olympus E10, Canon EOS D30, and my current choices a Canon EOS 1D and Canon EOS D60.
